Join us in prayer for the ceasefire which began on Sunday, 19 January 2025
God of Love,
We are thankful for the work that has been done to secure a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and pray that it may be implemented and lead to a lasting peace in the region.
With grateful hearts we celebrate the promised release of all those held against their will and pray for their recovery and recuperation as they are reunited with family and friends.
We pray that we never see such death and destruction in this region again.
May justice reign, justice that establishes peace, promotes hope, frees people from fear, encourages neighbours to love one another and brings an end to the seemingly endless cycle of injustice, violence and death in the region.
This we ask in the power of your spirit, Amen.

Dios de Amor,
Estamos agradecidos por el trabajo que se ha realizado para conseguir un alto el fuego entre Israel y Hamás y rezamos para que se aplique y conduzca a una paz duradera en la región.
Con corazones agradecidos, celebramos la prometida liberación de todas las personas retenidas contra su voluntad y rezamos por su recuperación mientras se reúnen con sus familiares y amigos.
Rezamos para que nunca volvamos a ver tanta muerte y destrucción en esta región.
Que reine la justicia, una justicia que establezca la paz, promueva la esperanza, libere a las personas del miedo, anime a los vecinos a amarse unos a otros y ponga fin al ciclo aparentemente interminable de injusticia, violencia y muerte en la región.
Te lo pedimos en el poder de tu Espíritu, Amén.
