Mercy Day is an annual commemoration of the anniversary of the House of Mercy on Baggott Street in Dublin, which Catherine McAuley opened on September 24, 1827 and dedicated to Our Lady of Mercy.
Sisters of Mercy, their Associates, colleagues and friends around the world celebrate this special day each year with gratitude, as they remember the mercies of God, so lavishly bestowed on them and on the world through these blessed beginnings.
